Social Media Policy

Ivey’s Social Media Policy has two distinct applications. 1. Social Media Company Usage, and 2. Social Media Personal Usage.

Company Usage

Any employee using or initiating in social media on behalf of Ivey’s must keep in mind the following rules of thumb:
*Use Your Common Sense
*Play Nice, Be Honest
*Be Very Wary Of Privacy Issues

Personal Usage

When personally engaging in social media, it is important to use extreme caution when making work related posts. Any violation of the following policy can result in disciplinarian actions, possibly including termination.

*Any post berating, slandering, or belittling any Customer, Coworker, or Superior will not be tolerated
*Any post divulging proprietary information, strategic process, or otherwise confidential information shall not be tolerated.
*Any post considered detrimental to the Company’s goals will be thoroughly reviewed and evaluated. This could possibly lead to disciplinarian actions.
